    In his usual witty and engaging style, Mark Hamill unpacks Psalm 137, a Psalm better known for being the basis of the 1978 disco track ‘Rivers of Babylon’ by Boney M. Mark successfully shows how this Psalm is relevant both to the current situation of Salford Central Church and wider contemporary world affairs, finally using verses 8 & 9 of the Psalm to examine the problem of suffering. An informative look at what may be termed a ‘pop’ Psalm.
